He's Just A Friend

Two messages today.

Message 1: The Monk. He had some health issues a few days ago and was giving me the update on his recovery. But it was weird. Last week we had a moment that was more on the romantic side and it has made everything just a little weird - not so much on my end. You know, he wants to be a monk...little awkward. However, I was happy to hear from him. I have a tiny crush on my Monk friend that I doubt will ever come to fruition.

Message 2: LR. LR and I have been friends for years, okay - acquaintances, and recently we discovered that in this huge metropolis, we happen to be living in the same area. We've been getting together regularly for the last few weeks and I'm a little suspicious that LR is romantically invested, not quite where I'm at. Anyways, he was calling to invite me for Saturday night funs, which I am SO not up for. Sleepy me!

That's it, friend that I wish was more - the Monk, and friend that wishes I was more - LR. An odd message day.
